I have been a Sea Cadet for nearly two years now and the number of different experiences I have had has been amazing. I’ve met new people and seen and done things that I would never had the opportunity for outside of Sea Cadets.

Sailing the Sea Cadets yacht TS Vigilant

I have been away on courses and had experience sailing on the TS Vigilant, power boating at SCTC Raleigh and had an amazing time on board the Sea Cadets vessel TS Jack Petchey. These are experiences I will never forget.

“Being a Sea Cadet gives you a real sense of adventure”

I really like Sea Cadets because it is a happy organisation and there are loads of opportunities to take part in. Being a Sea Cadet gives you a real sense of adventure – you never know what you will be able to achieve. Since joining my unit I have been promoted to Cadet First Class. I feel I have more confidence in doing things since joining the Corps.

Whether it's going on a rib on the sea in Weymouth or doing training weekends, go on an adventure with Sea Cadets! You will enjoy it. It has been the best experience of my life and I only wish I had joined sooner. I would recommend it to anyone. It’s amazing!
