Do you enjoy writing, or telling people about what you do at Sea Cadets? Then you should write for us, and you could see your work published right here on Current.

If you fancy a career in journalism or another field of writing then this will be really good practice, and being published would look great on your CV. But you don’t have to be a budding author – all you need is enthusiasm for Sea Cadets and for getting out on the water.

Some of the things you could write about include doing a course, going to summer camp or attending a Sea Cadets event. You could also write about how Sea Cadets has changed your life, or tell readers a nautical-inspired short story.

Email Current@ms-sc.org to send us something you’ve written, or to pitch us your ideas. Articles and stories should be no longer than 500 words. We’ll consider all submissions and will publish as many of them as possible.
