When you're out at sea, you can't just call the fire brigade if there's an emergency, so you might have to work as a team to control a situation and even save lives. From putting out fires to doing damage control inside a simulated submarine, cadets have been having a great time while gaining a valuable qualification on our Exploring Maritime Skills course at HMS Raleigh in Cornwall.

It's the same course you would do if you joined the Royal Navy, and you come out of it with a recognised qualification that looks great on your CV, whatever you decide to do.

If you're interested in attending the Exploring Maritime Skills course, speak to your Unit Training Officer. The course is exclusively for cadets and you must be 14 years or older to take part.
